Katherine Wenger is a litigation attorney who, for more than 20 years has represented a wide variety of clients, in employment, contract, and real estate matters, as well as in the litigation of a variety of other business disputes and collection matters. Ms. Wenger has extensive and wide-ranging experience in state and federal courts throughout California, as well as in mediation and arbitration. Ms. Wenger’s experience includes handling all phases of the litigation process for her clients, from the initiation of a case, through all phases of trial and appeal. Ms. Wenger also provides counseling to her clients on a variety of contract, employment, and other business-related matters.

Since joining Leone Alberts & Duus, Ms. Wenger has represented public entities in employment matters and continues to represent private clients in contract, real estate, employment, and other business-related matters.

Ms. Wenger’s clients see her as a trusted advisor, and speak highly of her practical, efficient and strategic approach to resolving matters, but with the willingness to pursue a matter aggressively where appropriate.

Ms. Wenger is admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in the State of California.
From 2010 through 2026 Ms. Wenger has been selected to the Northern California Super Lawyers list, a designation received by only 5% of lawyers in the area.

Ms. Wenger attended Wellesley College, followed by University of California – Berkely Law School (Boalt Hall). Upon graduating Boalt Hall in 2002, Ms. Wenger starting her law practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in Palto Alto, eventually moving her practice to the East Bay where she has practiced and resided since 2005.
